• John K. Nagle - Lead Pastor

    Pastor John is a highly relational pastor with a great love for God, his family, our church and the coastal community where we live. John is a graduate of Biola University and Dallas Theological Seminary. He is known for his Bible teaching that seeks to make God's truth understandable and applicable to daily life. John is a vision-caster for NCFF and is committed to developing Christ-like leadership. He and his wife, Becky, believe the North Coast of Oregon is where God has called them to live and share the life-transforming story of Jesus.

  • Michael Hague - Executive Pastor

    As executive pastor at NCFF, Mike wears a lot of "hats." He is a graduate of Pacific Christian College and Pepperdine University. Mike provides behind-the-scenes leadership and support to our staff and congregation. His duties include HR, financial oversight, facilitating discipleship ministries and overseeing community outreach. Mike, his wife Eva, and their three sons, have made the North Coast of Oregon their home since 1996.

  • Andrew (AJ) Johnson - Associate Pastor of Family Ministries

    AJ oversees our Children's Ministries which includes a vibrant Sunday School, 

    mid-week AWANA discipleship program, an annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) and a summer camping program for kids. AJ also gives direction to our Small Group Ministries which seeks to involve adults in discipleship settings focused on personal spiritual growth. AJ is a graduate of Multnomah University with a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry and a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies. AJ's wife, Anna, is his partner both in marriage and ministry. They have two daughters, Moriah and Jocelyn, who love helping their mom and dad at NCFF.

  • Brandon Read - Associate Pastor of Student Ministries

    Brandon is driven by his desire to help students build a community that is all about loving God and others. He is a graduate of Christian Leadership University and has 10 years of experience leading student ministries within coastal regions such as our own. At NCFF Brandon gives vision and direction to middle school and high school students as well as to college age young adults. Brandon, his wife Jessica, and their son Will, love the North Coast and know that God has called their family to serve students and their families within our community. He also loves to explore the outdoors with a camera in hand and to surf whenever he can.

  • Dr. Gil Kinch - Congregational Care Pastor

    Dr. Gil grew up in a missionary family serving in Costa Rica. He is a graduate of Covenant College (where he met his wife, Patty) and received his Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Seminary. Gil is the founder of Seascape Counseling (serving the North Coast) and is also the Congregational Care Pastor here at NCFF. His duties include providing leadership to "Legacy" which is our ministry to adults who have been over the road, learned a lot and have a lot to offer. Gil also oversees our compassion ministries to people within our church and to the community in which we live.

  • Joe Ballard - Facilities

    This guy has a big heart and a big job. Joe’s job is to care for our campus. Things at NCFF stay looking good and working correctly because of him. To do this, Joe works with all kinds of volunteers to ensure that our facilities and grounds are safe and ready for life changing ministry. Joe’s heart is all about providing loving ministry to people. He is known for encouraging everyone and is always the first person to help anyone in need. Joe is also a student at Convergence, a ministry school designed to develop godly pastors and church leaders. Joe, his wife Amy, along their two girls, Chloe and Hannah, have been part of NCFF since 2017.

  • Marti Darcangelo - Office Administrator

    Marti is the warm smile, kind heart and true 'answer person' that greets you the moment you walk into the office. She has a background in office management and business ownership. As the administrative assistant to our lead pastor, Marti oversees the operation of the main office. This includes weekly publications, volunteer coordination and behind-the-scenes organizational aspects of events and Sunday worship gatherings. Marti will direct you to the person that can help you when you find yourself in need or are looking for a place of significant service. She and her husband, John, and their two dogs delight in living on the North Oregon Coast.

  • Abby Koch - Intern

    Abby brings fun and light-hearted energy to NCFF. She engages with middle school and high school students to create discipleship experiences and relational opportunities that build spiritual community.  She also assists at NCFF in first impressions ministry and facilities care. You might know her as the friendly and informative face of NCFF’S video announcements during Sunday services. Abby is very grateful for the opportunity and the experience she is having as NCFF’s 2019-2020 intern. Abby plans to complete a Business Degree at Western Oregon University starting in the Fall.
